Announcements, News and EventsPTSA Grant Application JHS PTSA is pleased to offer a second granting period. Get your application HERE. Applications due to the JHS PTSA mailbox on Friday, January 20th, 2 pm. Grantees will be notified soon after the February 1st PTSA meeting. Thank you for applying! Reflections National PTA believes all children deserve a quality arts education and encourages students to pursue artistic expression through participation in its annual arts Reflections Program. More info. Scholarships Attention Seniors! The Jackson High School PTSA is offering $400 scholarships to graduating seniors who will be attending a four-year university, community college, vocational, or technical school. Criteria include, but are not limited to: academics, financial need, achievements and activities, community service, future goals, and student essay. See attached application form. Applications are also available in the Career Center. Deadline is Monday, April 16.

Senior Pictures Class of 2012 Yearbook Portraits Picture Due Date and Requirements Form Yearbook As the yearbook advisor (Mr. Trueit), it is that time again to share with you some dates and information about yearbook sales, senior portraits, and our senior ads. Attached are PDF files that you are welcome to attach to your web site. Even though they are linked to our yearbook site, it would still be helpful to have them available at yours. In addition, feel free to post the following dates for yearbook sales this year: August: 19, 20, 21, 25, & 26 September: 13, 14, 15, 16, 20, 21, 22, & 23 Oct. 18, 19, 20, & 21 Nov. 1, 2, 3, & 4 Dec. 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8. 9, 13, 14, 15, 16, & 17 Jan. 3, 4, 5, 6 June 13, 14, 15, & 16. (We limit the number of days of sales to comply with state definitions for an ASB fund raiser. This allows us a sales tax exemption that saves several thousand dollars on the final cost of our book.) Please join the Jackson HS PTSA Membership in JHS PTSA supports PTSA sponsored programs and activities. These include Student Programs, Staff Appreciation, Student Recognition Awards, Reflections, Wolf Tracks Newsletter Publication and PTSA Scholarships.
